Implementing the cut is a precision process. First, the wound nanocrystalline or amorphous ribbons are subjected to heat treatment and impregnation curing to form a solid integral toroidal core. Subsequently, equipment such as wire cutting, grinding wheel cutting, or laser cutting is used to precisely cut one or more gaps along the radial direction, obtaining open structures such as C-shaped or CC-shaped cores. Finally, the cut end faces must be ground, annealed, or chemically treated to eliminate micro-damage caused by cutting stress and restore local soft magnetic properties, ultimately assembling them into usable cut magnetic cores.
